Presentation

Long-standing discomfort of right wrist. Previous history of De Quervain tenosynovitis and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Bilateral positive ulnar variance. Asymptomatic hand for comparison. No signs of ulnar abutment.

Case Discussion

Normal anatomical variation of ulnar length. Possible complications include ulnar abutment of the lunate bone and TFCC degeneration.
