The small and large bowels are seen displaced to the left side and the right side of the abdomen is occupied by blank area obscuring the hepatic margin. Also there is mild scoliosis with concavity to the right side likely from associated pain.

A large haematoma is seen occupying the right hypochondrial and lumbar regions displacing the adjacent bowel to the left side. An incidental finding of hepatic laceration was noted as a result of appendectomy and responsible for the haematoma.
