ct

The gallbladder is not seen at anatomical location due to prior resection.

A 78×70×75 mm fluid accumulation is present at surgical site consistent with biloma.

A little volume fluid is also observed at sub diaphragmatic region anterosuperior to the left liver lobe.

The right hemidiaphragm is relatively elevated causing mild right lung base collapse.

Case Discussion

Post cholecystectomy biloma.

On CT scan images bilious fluid is water attenuation, usually seen collecting in the right upper quadrant. CT intravenous cholangiography can demonstrate a communication between the biliary tree and the biloma, localizing the leak.
