Presentation

Admitted with increasing pain, fever and feeling unwell post embolization of right kidney for bleeding following partial resection

Large hematoma is associated with a partially infarcted right kidney post embolization (see coils in right renal artery). Note the gas bubbles in the infarcted upper pole. These do not mean abscess but are typically seen after embolization as part of the syndrome.
