Presentation

Shortness of breath and constipation post radiologically inserted gastrostomy (RIG).

Patient Data

Age: 90 years
Gender: Female

Large pneumoperitoneum with multiple dilated bowel loops and Rigler sign.

The resultant increased intra-abdominal pressure is reducing lung volume and displacing the diaphragm upwards.
