History of post traumatic splenectomy and nephrectomy

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

There are multiple intraperitoneal rounded and oval sessile nodules, with characteristic similar signal intensity to the spleen after splenectomy and left nephrectomy.

Case Discussion

Splenosis due to autoimplantation of focal deposits of splenic tissue in abdominopelvic after trauma and splenectomy due to splenic rupture.
