Presentation

Acute left-sided weakness.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years

Acute right-sided basal ganglionic capsular infarct with prominent diffusion restriction probably of the anterior choroidal artery.

Bilateral old striatocapsular infarcts.

MRA (TOF) shows no large vessel occlusion. An Incidental left posterior cerebral artery quadrigeminal segment small aneurysm measures 5mm. This aneurysm can also be seen in the axial T2.
