The patient encountered hyperextension of the knee which induced group of related lesions as follow:

Avulsionavulsion fracture of the PCL with bony fragment from its tibial attachment. -
Horinzontalhorizontal tear of the lateral meniscus with large parameniscal cyst. -
Abnormalabnormal signal within the belly of popliteus muscle likely hematomat with intact popliteal tendon. -
Bonebone bruise at the posterolateral corner of the tibial plateau.
on the positive side, the lateralLateral collateral ligament, biceps femoris tendon,popliteo, popliteo-fibular ligament, arcuate ligament and iliotibial tracts are intact.
