Findings was changed:

The patient encountered hyperextension of the knee which induced group of related lesions as follow:

  • Avulsionavulsion fracture of the PCL with bony fragment from its tibial attachment.
  • Horinzontalhorizontal tear of the lateral meniscus with large parameniscal cyst.
  • Abnormalabnormal signal within the belly of popliteus muscle likely hematomat with intact popliteal tendon.
  • Bonebone bruise at the posterolateral corner of the tibial plateau.

on the positive side, the lateralLateral collateral ligament, biceps femoris tendon,popliteo, popliteo-fibular ligament, arcuate ligament and iliotibial tracts are intact.
