Posterior cruciate ligament avulsion fracture

There is an avulsion fracture arising from the tibial insertion of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) with no displaced fragment (type I) and adjacent edema of the bone marrow and surrounding soft tissues. The PCL, as well as the ACL, are intact. Minimal joint effusion is noted.
Tear of both menisci, grade 3 of the lateral meniscus and grade 2b of the medial meniscus.
