Posterior fossa meningioma

A fifty years old female was referred for evaluation of chronic headache.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Female

MR images show a well defined 5.8 x 4.6 cms. T1W hypointense extra-axial right side infratentorial region. ,broad based mass. The mass showed homogeneous contrast enhancement with a prominent dural tail.

Case Discussion

At surgery the posterior fossa mass was confirmed to be a meningioma.
