Sore right shoulder following a motor vehicle accident. Unable to interpret radiograph.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Posterior dislocation of the humeral head with a large impaction fracture involving the anterior humeral head producing a large trough-like defect.

Case Discussion

This is effectively an extreme reverse Hill-Sachs lesion due to posterior glenoid rim impaction against the humeral head.
