Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male

This patient has a syndrome of chronic sinusitis requiring surgical intervention and marked bronchiectasis.  Soft tissue changes in the right frontal sinus with minimal expansion so not a gross mucocoele but definite bony defect in the posterior wall due to chronic inflammation.

Case Discussion

This patient has chronic bronchiectasis and sinusitis requiring surgical intervention.  The bone erosion posteriorly in the right frontal sinus is concerning as there is a risk of fistula if the dura is breached with development of pneumocranium and/or meningitis
