The posterior aspect of the knee is anatomically complex and especially laterally clinically important.
The posterolateral ligamentous complex of the knee includes:
- popliteus tendon
- popliteal fibular ligament
- oblique popliteal ligament
- arcuate ligament
- fabellofibular ligament
- lateral collateral ligament
- biceps femoris tendon
