Posterior oblique ligament injury

- Subtle marrow edema predominantly posterior to the femoral MCL insertion, more in line with the POL attachment.
- Small amount of fluid around the ligaments in this region, also enveloping the distal adductor tendons, and the adductor tubercle.
- Subtle chondral irregularity of the lateral tibial plateau.
- Mild knee joint effusion.

Arrowheads: fluid tracking along the ligament.

Subtle posteromedial corner injury, with the bone edema and fluid more in line with a low grade POL than MCL tear.
