Active patient with medial knee pain

Patient Data

Age: 46
Gender: Male

Focal area of high signal intensity on T2-weighted images between posteromedial femoral condyle and gracilis tendon. No medial meniscal tear identified.

Case Discussion

Friction between sartorius and/or gracilis and posteromedial femoral condyle is a newly described entity described by Simeone et al in Skeletal Radiology in April 2015.
