Focal lens-shaped parenchymal distortion deep in the right breast.
Case Discussion
This is the typical focal distortion that results when submammary prostheses have been removed. The lens shaped fibrotic reaction is typical in shape position and can usually be seen on all 4 views.
There is a variation in appearance when the area shows residual capsular calcification from the prostesis or when fat necrosis begins to calcify.
