Postttraumatic avascular necrosis of the radial humeral capitellum
The patient suffered an elbow dislocation 3 months earlier with non displaced fracture of the lateral humeral condyle and the radial head and radial avulsion of the forearm extensor tendons.

The tendons have been re-attached to the lateral epicondyle with a screw. The capitellum shows a subchondral T1 hypointense area, tthat is surrounded by bone marrow oedema.
