Presentation

Chronic wound on the forehead with attempted drainage over 2 years.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
ct

Thickening/irregularity of the frontal bone with a central defect and small bone fragment. 

Surrounding subgaleal and subperiosteal enhancing collection with mass effect on the frontal lobe.  

Case Discussion

Severe chronic osteomyelitis of the frontal bone with sequestrum. Surrounding abscess with mass effect on the frontal lobe. This has been described as Pott puffy tumor.
