Swelling of the prepatellar soft tissue, moderate degenerative changes. Note sclerotic, circumscribed periosteal reaction along the lateral edge of the tibial metaphysis (follow-up recommended).

A small amount of fluid in the prepatellar bursa with hypervascularised synovium was demonstrated by Doppler flow. A minimal amount of suprapatellar-free fluid.
Case Discussion
Subsequently, a small amount of bloody synovial fluid was aspirated from the prepatellar bursa.
