Prepatellar bursitis

There are fluid and thickening of the prepatellar bursa, inferring bursitis.

Additionally, you can also notice a Baker's cyst and a cyst related to the popliteus tendon. 

 

Case Discussion

Prepatellar bursitis is usually caused due to recurrent minor trauma (kneeling), major trauma, infection, occupational and gout.
