What kind of dialysis is this patient undergoing?
There is presternal peritoneal dialysis catheter, the tip in the abdomen is not seen, however.
There is also an IVC filter.
Case Discussion
The catheter seems suitable for any patient commencing peritoneal dialysis and is particularly useful in extremely obese patients (body mass index >40 kg/m2) and those with ostomies.
