There is a well-defined pedunculated intracavitary mass measuring 10 x 3 x 2 cm arising from the right lateral uterine wall, filling the uterine cavity and prolapsing through a distended endocervical canal. It elicits an isosignal to the endometrium on T1 and T2, surrounded by hyperintense endometrium with relatively homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. No infiltration of the myometrium. No pelvic lymphadenopathy or intraperitoneal effusion.
Case Discussion
The MRI features are most consistent with an endometrial polyp.
