Multiple well-defined partially calcified ovoid masses in the subcutaneous tissues of the scalp.
Proliferating trichilemmal cysts, also known as proliferating trichilemmal tumors, are dermal or subcutaneous tumors which usually arise in the scalp and appear as well-defined solid or cystic masses. The cystic component contains high-density proteinaceous material (keratin). They may have coarse calcification within them.
