Dense sclerosis of the whole of the visualized spine and pelvis.
Small anterior osteophytes.
Alignment maintained.
Case Discussion
If presented with these images in an examination context the differential is one for diffuse bone sclerosis.
The list is long, including malignant, hematological, metabolic and congential causes, although in reality a few causes make up most of the causes.
Bony metastases from prostate and breast carcinoma make up the majority.
