Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Undescended intra-abdominal left testicle located at the left iliac region anterior to the external iliac vessels, which appear small in size. Empty left scrotal sac.

Case Discussion

Cryptorchidism refers to an absence of a testis (or testes) in the scrotal sac. It may refer to an undescended testis, ectopic testis, or an atrophic or absent testis. Correct localization of the testes is essential because surgical management varies on location.

Prostatic utricle cyst (or utricular cyst) (PUC) is an area of focal dilatation that occurs within the prostatic utricle.
