There is an artificial left globe (spherical orbital implant, with overlying prosthetic eye) and evidence of previous mandibular fixation. No acute facial fracture.
Case Discussion
There are numerous types of prosthetic eyes, which depend on the type of injury / surgery and what tisses remain in the orbit. In this case an orbital implant is present (sphere) to which the extraocular muscles attach. Over this is the glass prosthetic eye, seen as a concave 'shell'.
