Proximal humeral fracture - 3-part

Shoulder radiograph revealed a proximal humeral fracture. According to Neer's classification, this is a 3-part fracture. There is a great displacement of the humeral head, the greater tuberosity, and the humerus shaft.
Also, the shoulder is dislocated, as the humeral head lost contact with the glenoid.
Lateral radiographs were not available.

Proximal humeral fractures are common fractures, especially among the elderly population.
This case is an example of a 3-part fracture of the proximal humerus according to the Neer classification.
