Presentation

Patient sent for chest radiograph by her general physician because of difficulties breathing. First visit to GP for 2 years.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Old humeral fracture with anterior shoulder dislocation, with probable avascular necrosis of the humeral head. Chest radiograph otherwise unremarkable.

Case Discussion

Patient reported fall on ice two years ago. Didn't visit her physician, with no particular explanation. Severely reduced range of motion of her right shoulder.
