Osteopenia.
Acute comminuted mildly displaced fracture of the left proximal humerus involving the surgical neck, and greater tuberosity.
Low-lying left humeral head likely related to pseudosubluxation from a joint effusion.
No dislocation.
Case Discussion
This represents a case of a fractured humerus.
Upon clinical presentation, an x-ray revealed a mildly displaced fracture.
Treatment included a cuff and collar sling, pain management, and a gradual progression of active range of movements.
