Proximal humeral greenstick fracture

Minimally angulated incomplete (greenstick) fracture through the proximal metaphysis. No extension to the physis. Normal glenohumeral alignment.
Case Discussion
Paediatric proximal humeral fractures are uncommon but tend to have one of two characteristics patterns:
- metaphyseal fracture (70%) at either the surgical neck or metadiaphysis
- epiphyseal separation (30%) as either Salter-Harris II or less commonly Salter-Harris I injuries
