Presentation

History of hit by metal at work yesterday, on examination: tenderness right little finger, metacarpal, and proximal interphalangeal joint.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows an oblique fracture in the proximal phalanx of the right little finger, seen only on the frontal view.

Case Discussion

There is no significant displacement in this fracture is seen, conservative treatment with a splint is enough.
