Presentation

Restricted elbow and forearm movements.

Patient Data

Age: 10
Gender: Male
Modality: X-ray

Bilateral proximal radioulnar osseous synostosis manifested by osseous continuity between the proximal radii and ulnae bones.

These fusions involves the entirety of both radial heads, and fixes the forearms in a pronated position.

Case Discussion

Findings are consisting with congenital proximal radioulnar osseous synostosis.
