Increased lucency in the region of the greater trochanter of humerus mimicking a lytic lesion.

Case Discussion

This case represents the typical appearance and location of a pseudocyst of the humerus which is a normal anatomical variant. This is due to increased cancellous bone in the region of the greater tuberosity and is seen as a lucent lesion on radiography. It should not be mistaken for a lytic lesion.
