Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Horizontal linear hypointensities perpendicular to the cortex in the necks of both femurs with surrounding marrow edema.

Horizontal linear hypointensities perpendicular to the cortex in necks of both femurs with surrounding marrow edema likely represent pseudofractures (possibly related to osteomalacia).

There is a known association between Down syndrome and vitamin D deficiency.
