There is a hypoechoic cordlike tract noted extending from a skin dimple in gluteal crease to the tip of coccyx (coccygeal cartilage). Normal appearance of conus medullaris (ended at level of L2).
Case Discussion
The aim of the ultrasound study is to exclude true sinus tract extending to spinal canal. A hypoechoic cord like structure connecting the sacral skin dimple to tip of coccyx is typical for pseudosinus tract which is a normal variant.
