Presentation

Patient with headache and visual problems. Pathologic fundoscopic findings.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Prominent subarachnoid space around the optic nerves on their distal portion. 

Empty sella. 

Diminished transverse sinuses bilaterally. 

No mass or hydrocephalus. 

Case Discussion

The patient presented with findings related to idiopathic intracranial hypertension.

The diagnosis was confirmed by a lumbar puncture, showing a high opening pressure.
