Pseudotumor of the sternocleidomastoid

Presentation

29 day old infant with history of prolonged labor presented with painless left cervical lump and torticolis.

Patient Data

Age: 29 days
Gender: Male

Longitudional and oblique ultrasound images of the left side of neck show iso to mildly hyperechoic fusiform lesion in the left sternocleidomastiod muscle. No internal vascularity was seen. Underlying vessels and rest of the cervical soft tissues are normal.
