Pubic diastasis

Presentation

The patient complains of the right leg pain and occasional numbness.

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Female
X-ray

A 3 cm wide pubic symphysis separation.

Moderate degenerative changes of the hip joints bilaterally.

Calcifications of the blood vessel walls.

Case Discussion

This patient was sent for pelvis radiography by her GP because of right leg pain all the way to the foot and occasional numbness.

There is no history of previous trauma.

The only valuable data in this situation is that the patient had multiple deliveries.
