Presentation
Known to have pulmonary microlithiasis.
Patient Data
There is evidence of scattered fine high-density nodules over both lungs more evident at the lower lobes suggestive of microlithiasis.
No consolidation or mass lesion.
Heart size is normal.
Clear both CP angles.
Compared to the previous study, stable appearance of the symmetrical fine high densities are seen in both lung fields.
Compared to the previous x-ray, the previously mentioned changes compatible with the diagnosis of pulmonary microlithiasis are still seen with no significant changes.
Hila and mediastinum appear normal without evidence of mass lesions or gross lymphadenopathy.
Numerous tiny dense nodules are seen scattered in both lungs more evident at lower lobes consistent with pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis.
There is no evidence of lung masses or gross consolidations.
No evidence of pleural effusion.
Unremarkable chest wall and rib cage.
