Pulmonary arterial hypertension

Shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 70
Gender: Female

Enlargement of the main pulmonary trunk. Prominent hilar vascular markings. No cardiomegaly. Lungs and pleural spaces are clear. Sternotomy wires. 

Case Discussion

The patient has a known history of pulmonary arterial hypertension, which is most likely secondary to her rheumatoid arthritis.
