Single view of the chest demonstrates prominent interstitial markings throughout both lungs. The changes of those of diffuse extensive fibrosis. No lung mass identified.

Widespread subpleural fibrosis most marked at the lung bases in particular at the inferior lingula. There are several foci of ground glass opacity particularly in the mid zones bilaterally. Marked pleural thickening right mid zone laterally. Small mediastinal nodes are likely reactive. Conclusion: Widespread established fibrosis with several areas of ground glass opacity which may indicate active inflammation.
