Pulmonary hamartoma

Abnormal preoperative chest radiograph.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

A peripheral well-circumscribed solitary nodule with lobulated margins is noted in the anterior segment of the right upper lobe. It shows a popcorn calcification with no significant enhancement of the soft tissue component. No fat component could be seen within the lesion.

No other chest abnormality is seen.
