One month of cough, dyspnea and hemoptysis in a patient with granulomatosis with polyangiitis.

Diffuse bilateral consolidation, otherwise normal.

Diffuse bilateral ground-glass opacity and consolidation. Trace bilateral pleural effusions.
Case Discussion
Unfortunately, the CT findings of diffuse ground-glass opacity and consolidation are non-specific: infection, hemorrhage due to other causes and diffuse adenocarcinoma could have a similar appearance. Given the patient's history, pulmonary hemorrhage is by far the most likely cause of the imaging findings.
