Pulmonary hydatid cyst

Age: 20
Gender: Male

A large cystic structure is noted in the right upper lobe (on CT-scan and on the scout image). It contains several internal membranes in its dependent portion, which is suggestive of ruptured daughter cysts. The findings are in keeping with hydatid cyst.
