Wedge-shaped peripherally located consolidation of the anterior left upper lobe. Soft-tissue window shows an arterial filling defect. Combination of findings strongly suggests a peripheral pulmonary infarction following the (partial) occlusion of a pulmonary artery.
Mild bilateral pleural effusion.
