Pulmonary tuberculosis

Chest x-ray demonstrates extensive patchy reticulonodular opacities, particularly on the left. Peripherally at the junction of mid and upper zones, a parenchymal cavity can be identified.


CT confirms the cavity and extensive endobronchial spread, particularly within the left upper lobe. In places, there is a tree-in-bud appearance.
