Median sternotomy.
Iatrogenic high-density structure in the left paramidline at the site of the pulmonary trunk, in keeping with a pulmonary valve replacement.
Case Discussion
The pulmonary valve is an uncommon form of prosthetic cardiac valves replacement.
Its location to the left of the midline close to the pulmonary trunk, allow for its identification.
In this case, it was a Melody prosthetic valve.
