Moderately tender mass near the patellar tendon.

Case Discussion

Circumscript 5 mm mass in Hoffas fat pad with peripheral signal voids due to susceptibility artifacts caused by hemosiderin deposits. The lesion was surgically excised. Histopathologic diagnosis: pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS).
