Info

T1 and T2 hyperintense fluid collections with peripheral blooming on T2* is seen involving the substance of right vastus intermedius, dissecting through intermuscular planes with another component involving the right vastus lateralis.
Contusion of vastus medialis and to a lesser extent sartorius. The rectus femoris is unaffected.
Case Discussion
Blunt trauma injury to the quadriceps and anterior compartment of thigh with intermuscular and intramuscular haematomas.
