Presentation

Anterior distal third thigh trauma 4 months prior. Non-MRI compatible prosthetic cardiac valve.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

There is a complete tear of the quadriceps tendon. Retraction from the patella (~5cm). The defect shows a small amount of anechoic fluid and prolapse of the subcutaneous fat.
